So, I'm about 3 1/2 days out from our trip to Japan, and I've come down with a nasty sinus infection. I went to the Doctor, who decided that antibiotics just wouldn't do the trick. Nope. Instead, I'm on steroids. Yep, you heard it here. No, my voice hasn't deepend, and the muscles aren't bulging, but I am on steroids to help clear out my system. I hope it works, because I really don't want to have to worry about ear or sinus problems on a 13 hour flight--that is just not fun.
Until then, I'm being a total anti-socialite, and going home early from work, and not going out at all-not for happy hour, not to meet up with friends, not to even see my little brother-all in the name of healing. So, hopefully I'll get better by Monday. Wish me well!
